A lot of older people stop exercising for various reasons, including thinking that you don’t need to anymore or thinking that you “can’t do it”.

The reality is that exercise is just as important when we are aging as when we are young. Exercise helps with muscle strength and stability, which in turn protects from injuries; balance exercises will help prevent falls; and strength training has been proven to assist bone strength.

OurĀ Strong & Stable class is specifically designed to assist with your strength and balance as you get older. Supervised by our Exercise Physiologist, you will be given safe and effective exercises to help you maintain your independence.
